This page explains how to delete the data associated with PeriodVol (Android package app.periodvol, published on Google Play by Mihee Youn; also on the App Store). It covers the exact steps, what gets deleted, what is kept, and for how long.
That single action deletes every row our server holds for your install and issues your device a new random install ID, so nothing sent from now on can be connected to anything sent before.
This erases your entries from the device. Uninstalling PeriodVol removes them too.
If your phone’s own device backup is switched on (Apple iCloud Backup or Google’s Android backup), your operating system may hold a copy inside your encrypted personal backup. That copy belongs to your Apple or Google account — we cannot see it or delete it. Remove it in your phone’s settings (iOS: Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Backups; Android: Settings → Google → Backup).

There is no automatic expiry: the anonymous rows above are kept until you delete them using Step 1. Deletion happens immediately when you tap the button — it is a direct delete, not a scheduled job, and there is no grace period during which the data could be restored. We keep no backup copy of these rows from which they could be recovered.
We want to be straight with you rather than promise something we cannot do. The rows we hold are tied only to a random install ID that lived on your device — we never held your name, email, phone number, account or IP address, because the app never asked for any of them. Once the app is gone, that ID is gone, and we have no way to work out which anonymous rows were yours. That is a consequence of the design, not an oversight: there is no identity attached to the data in the first place.

이 한 번의 동작으로 서버에 남아 있는 이 설치의 모든 행이 지워지고, 새 임의 설치 ID가 발급돼요. 그래서 이후에 보내는 것과 이전에 보낸 것이 서로 연결되지 않아요.
기기에 저장된 기록이 지워져요. 앱을 삭제해도 함께 지워져요.
휴대폰 자체 백업(Apple iCloud 백업 또는 Google 안드로이드 백업)을 켜 두었다면, 운영체제가 본인의 암호화된 개인 백업 안에 사본을 갖고 있을 수 있어요. 그 사본은 본인의 Apple·Google 계정 것이라 우리는 보거나 지울 수 없어요. 휴대폰 설정에서 지워주세요 (iOS: 설정 → 이름 → iCloud → 계정 저장 공간 관리 → 백업 / 안드로이드: 설정 → Google → 백업).

자동 만료는 없어요. 위의 익명 행들은 1단계로 직접 지우기 전까지 보관돼요. 삭제는 버튼을 누르는 즉시 이루어져요 — 예약 작업이 아니라 바로 지우는 방식이고, 되돌릴 수 있는 유예 기간도 없어요. 이 행들을 복구할 수 있는 백업 사본도 두지 않아요.
못 하는 일을 할 수 있다고 말하지 않을게요. 우리가 가진 행은 기기 안에 있던 임의 설치 ID 하나에만 묶여 있어요. 앱이 이름·이메일·전화번호·계정·IP를 아예 묻지 않기 때문에 그중 무엇도 가지고 있지 않아요. 앱이 사라지면 그 ID도 사라지고, 어떤 익명 행이 본인 것이었는지 알아낼 방법이 없어요. 이건 실수가 아니라 설계의 결과예요 — 애초에 데이터에 신원이 붙어 있지 않거든요.
